Siim Sööt
Siim’s family escaped Estonia in fear of the Soviets and arrived in the USA in search for the Superman
Siim Sööt was born to a family with four children. His father was an engineer. In 1944, his mother, grandmother and children escaped to Germany first and their father followed them with the last ship from Tallinn but made it only to Latvia and had to find his way to Germany from there. The family lived in a DP camp until they were kicked out from there. They were trying to get emmigration documents and eventually arrived in the USA.
